Burano is an island in the Venetian Lagoon, part of the Metropolitan City of Venice, known for its lace work and brightly coloured houses, as well as its ancient church, the Chiesa di San Martino. It is also the location for Kaffe Fassett’s latest inspirational project book. Of Burano Kaffe says, “This is the sort of place I pray we will find, and at last we get to set our quilts in a corner of the world that echoes the colour we find so invigorating. I only hope you feel a fraction of the thrill that we felt every hour we spent on this magical island.”

Please note a that some kits contain carefully selected substitutes where the original fabric is unavailable and there may be delays where popular fabrics are on reprint. It can, therefore, take several weeks to complete kit orders. As with all our kits, you are not charged until it is ready to despatch to you.
